What We Do:
Doctor's rounds are not predictable, and usually happen when you cannot be there. We help by talking to doctors, noting conditions and recording medications when families cannot be present.
When you miss the rounds, it's usually hard to get a complete update on what is going on, or what's next. We take notes about the situation and report back to family members. We'll report to as many family members as you desire, reducing redundant phone calls.
Many times people can get scared in a hospital. We can also provide companionship to help your loved ones feel more comfortable.
Long-term care is difficult for many families. Kids, work and other commitments usually must be kept, and you may be worried about their adjustment to a new facility. We will go and make sure things are as you expect them to be, or to provide companionship.
Places Where We Visit:
Hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Southeast Michigan.
Families are dispersed across the country, and cannot always be present in medical, or long-term care situations. We can visit anywhere in SE Michigan for families that are local, or anywhere across the country.
Times We Cover:
6:00 am to 9:00 pm most days.
Overnight care can be arranged by appointment.
How We Communicate:
We tailor our communications to your needs and schedule.
We create a written report of every visit. This report will include any questions or concerns you have regarding your loved one.
This report will be emailed, faxed or read over the phone to you per your direction.
Other non-scheduled communications can include phone calls, email, fax or any other desired media.
Privacy: (note HIPAA considerations)
Your privacy is our utmost concern.
We have put in place the appropriate sign-off forms to allow doctors, hospitals and patients to communicate with us within HIPAA regulations.
We will not share your personal information with anyone outside of your direction.
Rates:
Companionship visits - $25/hr with 2 hour minimum
Nursing home quick check - $15 each
Holiday rates will be higher.
